Our Process
The building process does not have to be daunting. When all aspects of the project are carefully considered, the process can take a logical and enjoyable path to bringing your dream home to life.
1. Preliminaries & Initial Phone call
The first step in building project would be securing a build site, obtaining site survey and be clear on your budget. At the initial phone call, expect to answer the following questions:
- Do you have site survey?
- What is your lot size and dimension?
- What is your dream home size in SQFT?
- What is the approximate budget you have in mind?
- When would you like to commence the project?
2. Initial Consultation
In our initial meeting we will discuss what stage you are with your design. Maybe you have an approved set of plans and are requiring a fully itemized and transparent quotation, or it could be your first engagement where we introduce you to our design team and engineers that reflect your design brief. We work closely with Architects and engineers at the feasibility stage to assess site limitation and optimize construction method.
At this stage, expect to answer:
- What are your desired floor plans
- Send us your inspirational photos
- Select your desired facades
- Desired level of finishes
- What are your site conditions?
3. Bamkoles Pre-Construction
We spend quite a lot of time with our client at this stage making sure they get every little detail our client want and need, taking advantage of our design build process to optimize and get the best out of their new home. We ask ourselves questions like, what if this is our family house? How would we build this if we are building our parent’s house? We go some extra mile at this stage so that when we kick off on actual construction, we save some time because we understand fully what our client intents and wants are.
4. Quotation
At quotation phase, we breakdown building into work packages and task categories, identify & select finishes grade to ensure all items are included in the build. We will send the tender package to our contractors and suppliers for accurate pricing. Our quotations are itemized, transparent and crystal-clear to ensure our client is aware of all inclusions & exclusions.
5. Contract Stage
At contract stage, provided our client is completely satisfied with our quotation we will sign a building contract which is transparent and easily understood. We will proceed to obtain warranty insurance for the project.
6. Break Ground
At this exciting stage, we have all the inputs we require. You will be provided with a timeline for schedule of works and have direct access to Ayo Agbeluyi at all times.
We will schedule weekly or every other week site meetings throughout the construction stage to watch your dream home come to life. At this stage, you will learn that we build every home as if it is ours.
7. Handover
Congratulations, you are moments away from moving in. We walk your home with the architects, test HVAC, all electrical outlets, all faucets and fixtures, go over the entire house to ensure you are 100% satisfied with your new home. Our after-care manager will be on hand to fix any issue that may arise. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer satisfaction.
8. Future Maintenance
We partner with warranty companies that provides coverage on MEP and structural. We are in regular contact and often are recommended by our past clients to their family and friends to build their homes.
